    Designer Awareness Day

Highfield Humanities College, Highfield Road, Blackpool FY4 3JZ

Early consideration of health and safety issues can resolve many of the problems that contractors face.  We all know that changes cropping up during the construction phase can be expensive.  The cost of failure to plan effectively is reflected in the high levels of injury and ill health amongst our workforce.  The team at Highfield Humanities College, Blackpool worked together using 3D modelling to help design and build a fantastic project.  There are no reportable accidents suffered by anyone involved in the project with well over 1/2 million persons hours worked.

The CDM - Coordination team which included the designers, facilities managers and the end users, assisted the project management team in coordinating the design and delivery of a safe project.

The presentation will explain how the whole team worked together to deliver a successful and safe project with minimal waste in resources.

The cost to attend this event is £75 each.
