The Working Well Together groups usually run more than 60 events across England, Scotland and Wales every year. Most of the events are free to attend and we usually feed you too!  So come along, meet and speak with industry experts and don't forget to pick up a WWT SHAD Pack on your way out!!

    Refurbishment &Working Well at Height Event

    The construction industry has made great improvements in reducing injury, accident and ill health linked to construction work over recent years. However, the industry still has a great opportunity to make further improvements – particularly in areas such as working at height, roof works, dust, asbestos, mental health and manual handling.


    This free half day event will provide self-employed builders and small construction companies with practical up to date information, help and advice on how to protect you and your employees’ future health, safety and wellbeing.


    Topics covered will include:

    ·       Dust and Respiratory Protective Equipment;

    ·       Work at Height -Safe Equipment (steps and podiums);

    ·       HAV (Hand-Arm Vibration);

    ·       Asbestos Awareness;

    ·       Safe Roof Work;

    ·       Manual Handling;
